Meet Dr. David Sliva

Your Dentist

Dr. David Sliva graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Connecticut in 1977. He attended the School of Dental Medicine at the UCONN Health Center in Farmington and received his degree as a Doctor of Dental Medicine. He also received the Endodontic Award for Excellence and the Alpha Omega Award for Excellence in Scholarship. In 1982 he graduated from the Long Island Jewish Hillside General Dentistry residency program. He opened his Clinton office in 1982 and in 1988 joined in practice with Dr. Brian Sawchuk. In 1996 he opened an additional office in Old Saybrook.

He is a member of the Shoreline Dental Society, American Dental Association, Clinton Lion's Club, and the Clinton Chamber of Commerce. Presently, Dr. Sliva serves as president of the Board of Directors of the Old Saybrook Ambulance Association. He and his family are longtime residents of Old Saybrook and are active participants in various local civic organizations.
